Language Equality
For reasons of readability, the feminine form is used in these Terms and Conditions. All personal designations apply equally to all genders.

​These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, orders and services between LaPerruque and its customers.

1. Conclusion of Contract

1.1 Online Shop

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer.

By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer.

The automatically generated order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the contract.

The contract is concluded only upon:

• explicit confirmation by e-mail, or

• dispatch of the goods.

LaPerruque reserves the right not to accept orders in cases of unavailability, delivery obstacles, or obvious errors (e.g. pricing errors).

Payments already made will be refunded in such cases.

1.2 Offers after Consultation / Product Selection

Following consultation or fitting, a written offer may be issued.

The contract is concluded upon explicit acceptance of the offer by the customer.

Acceptance creates a binding obligation to pay.

Subsequent non-payment does not cancel the contract.

Production, procurement or reservation begins after receipt of payment.

1.3 Information on Product Selection and Cost Reimbursement

Before purchasing, the customer is informed about the essential characteristics, intended use and relevant features of the selected product.
The customer is solely responsible for the product selection. By making a purchase, the customer confirms that all necessary information has been provided and that the purchasing decision has been made independently.
Any claims against social insurance providers, private insurance companies or other cost bearers, as well as the clarification of possible reimbursement, are the sole responsibility of the customer. Decisions by insurers or other cost bearers do not affect the customer's payment obligations towards LaPerruque.

2. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within 10 calendar days from the invoice date without deduction, unless otherwise agreed.
For custom-made products, individually adapted products, reserved goods or orders involving increased procurement efforts, LaPerruque may require full prepayment or an appropriate deposit. Production, procurement or reservation of goods may only commence after receipt of the agreed payment.
Upon expiry of the payment period, the customer shall automatically be in default without further notice.
In the event of late payment, LaPerruque is entitled to:
• charge default interest of 5% per annum in accordance with Article 104 of the Swiss Code of Obligations;
• charge an administration fee of CHF 20 for the first reminder;
• charge an administration fee of CHF 30 for the second reminder;
• charge collection, debt enforcement, legal recovery and other costs caused by the payment default, to the extent permitted by law;
• suspend further deliveries, services or reservations until all outstanding claims have been settled in full;
• withdraw from the contract where legally permitted;
• claim damages.
Payments received shall first be applied to costs, default interest and reminder fees and only thereafter to the outstanding principal claim.

3. Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of LaPerruque until full payment has been received.
LaPerruque is entitled to register a retention of title in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

4. Custom-Made Products

Custom-made products, special orders and individually adapted products are excluded from exchange, return and cancellation rights.
The agreed remuneration remains fully payable even if the goods are not collected.
Minor deviations regarding colour, structure, length, density or workmanship that do not affect usability shall not constitute a defect.
By granting final approval, accepting adjustments or taking delivery of the goods, the customer confirms that the goods have been provided in accordance with the contract. Subsequent complaints regarding colour, hairstyle, density, length or subjective dissatisfaction are excluded unless a manufacturing defect can be proven.

5. Returns & Hygiene

There is no statutory right of withdrawal or return unless expressly granted by LaPerruque.
Non-personalised and unopened original goods may be returned within 3 calendar days of receipt.
Wigs, hairpieces, extensions and other hygiene products are excluded from return once they have been worn, tried on, opened, altered or used.
Returns based on personal dissatisfaction, changed preferences or rejected reimbursement claims are excluded.

6. Default of Acceptance & Storage

Uncollected goods may be stored free of charge for up to 6 months.
Thereafter, LaPerruque is entitled to charge reasonable storage fees.
Following prior written notice, uncollected goods may be disposed of, realised or otherwise used at the customer's expense. Payments already made will not be refunded.

7. Delivery

Delivery periods and delivery dates are non-binding estimates.
Delivery delays do not entitle the customer to withdraw from the contract or claim damages.
Partial deliveries are permitted where reasonable for the customer.
In cases of force majeure, supply shortages, transport disruptions, governmental measures or comparable circumstances, delivery periods shall be extended appropriately.
Risk and benefit pass to the customer upon handover of the goods to the transport company, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Warranty

Warranty claims are limited to demonstrable manufacturing or material defects. Obvious defects must be reported in writing within 5 calendar days of receipt and accompanied by photographic documentation. Normal wear and tear, natural ageing, improper care, heat exposure, chemical treatments, unsuitable care products or external influences do not constitute grounds for warranty claims. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Variations in colour, texture or shine resulting from screen settings, lighting conditions or material characteristics do not constitute defects.

9. Consultation

A professional consultation lasts up to 60 minutes and costs CHF 100.

This amount will be credited towards a purchase.

Consultations are free of charge for chemotherapy patients and clients with diagnosed alopecia.

The selection is curated.

For hygiene and quality reasons, unlimited fitting of multiple models is excluded.

Appointments are arranged exclusively via the website contact form.

10. IV and Third-Party Payers

Even where reimbursement may be available through disability insurance (IV), health insurance providers, private insurers or other third-party payers, the customer remains the sole contractual partner of LaPerruque.
The customer's payment obligation towards LaPerruque remains unaffected by the amount, timing or rejection of any reimbursement by third parties.

11. Liability

LaPerruque's liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profit or indirect financial losses is excluded.
The products offered are not intended for the diagnosis, treatment or cure of diseases. Information and recommendations provided by LaPerruque do not constitute medical advice and do not replace professional medical assessment.
Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain reserved.

12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

Swiss law shall apply exclusively. To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Basel-Stadt, Switzerland.

13. Final Provisions

Side agreements, verbal commitments or deviations from these Terms and Conditions shall only be valid if confirmed in writing by LaPerruque. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the original provision. LaPerruque reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version valid at the time of contract conclusion shall apply to the respective order or service.
